Lexus are now really aiming flat out at Mercedes, BMW,Jaguar and Audi with their latest flagship model the Lexus LS460 2007.

It will come with a 4.6 litre V8 engine producing 380bhp and an eight speed automatic transmission.

0-to-60 mph time is likely to be less than 5.5 seconds, whilst fuel economy will be 25+.

The Lexus LS460 will be available in two models the LS460 and a long wheelbase version, the LS460L which will be 2003 inches long and have a special luxury package enabling the rear seat to recline and includes a massage system. It will also have powered rear door closers, so the passenger won;t have to reach to close the door, a DVD entertainment package, and a hidden cooler compartment.

The Lexus LS460 will have a real-time traffic reporting system which will indicate which roads are congested by changing their colour on the screen.

Amazingly, the Lexus LS460 will be able to park itself! Pull up to a parking space, engage the Intelligent Park Assist System, and keep your foot lightly on the brake. The LS460 will do the rest!
